Virginia Herther
Guardian and co-creator of Pepem Holistic Retreats, the sanctuary in the Mayan jungle that will be home to Travesía Ancestral.
For more than 18 years, she has walked a spiritual path, supporting processes of conscious transformation. Pepem was born from her shared vision with her life partner, Juan Carlos Camberos, to create a living space sustained by the jungle and designed to host retreats where body, mind, and spirit can return to their center.
She is a temazcal guide initiated within the Mazatec tradition by her teacher Erick Palma, who also participates as a facilitator in this retreat. Her training honors lineage, deep respect, and the living tradition of the temazcal.
From Pepem, as part of her medicine work, she supports groups in reconnecting with their spirit through cacao rituals with ancestral chants, temazcal ceremonies, and introspective practices in a cenote of powerful energy—where silence, water, and intention become portals for clarity and inner expansion.
